What is Five Nights at Freddy's 2?

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a first-person survival horror game where you play as a night security guard in a haunted pizza parlor. The only goal: survive from midnight to 6 am while a series of animatronics try to break in and attack you.

How to play

What is the main task of the player?

You will sit in a small security room, monitor security cameras, and use limited tools to prevent animatronics from approaching and attacking you.

How to survive each night?

Players need to remember the following operations:

1. Observe the security cameras

• There are a total of many rooms and hallways, and you need to constantly check the movement of the animatronics.
• Camera 11 (Prize Corner) is where you must wind up the music box – otherwise, “The Puppet” will appear and attack immediately.

2. Use the Freddy mask

• When an animatronic enters your room, immediately put on the Freddy mask to disguise yourself as one of them.
• Not all animatronics are fooled – Foxy and Puppet are examples.

3. Shine a flashlight in the main hallway

• Foxy only appears in the hallway in front of you and needs to be constantly shined to prevent him from moving closer.
• The flashlight has a limited amount of power – use it with caution.

4. Watch the two vents

• To the left and right of the office are two vents, where animatronics like Balloon Boy and Mangle often crawl into.
• If you spot them, quickly put on your mask as soon as they appear in the room.
