Granny 4

Granny 4 is the second installment of the dark sequel to the already popular survival horror saga Granny, which is fully based on the fear from limited spaces, noises, and the constant and undying pursuit of the characters. Just like the horror genre classic games, such as Eyes: The Horror Game or Death Park, Granny 4 also does not need any special effects or graphics to keep the players always on their toes.

What is the overall situation in the game? You are locked in a house that is cursed, and you have a time limit of 5 days to escape. Your every step has to be strategized, as even the faintest sound can draw the attention of the hunters. Granny 4 does not allow players to act quickly; it is a game that requires lots of patience, careful observation, and smart planning, which are the characteristics of the classic survival genre.

Granny 4 Gameplay Guide

The gameplay of Granny 4 keeps the same base of its predecessors but is upgraded in terms of difficulty and depth, very much closer to the survival feeling of Granny – Prison Escape or Five Nights at Freddy’s.

The players are required to do the following:

• Explore the entire house floor by floor to come across the hidden keys, tools, and items.
• Unlock the logic puzzles found in the basements, wells, and secret corridors.
• No noise, please: everything from dropping items, opening doors forcefully, to running fast can all lead you to failure.
• Try to memorize the routes and the movement of the enemy because in every new game, you get to experience a different scenario.

One of the most important features is that Granny, Grandpa, Slendrina, and Nosferatu will now all appear together at the same time. This gives the game a chase feeling similar to that of the Evil Nun game, but the increased tension due to the narrow space and time limitations makes it even more unbearable.

On top of that, Granny 4 allows the player to unlock and control the villain, thus providing the role reversal experience, which is a very uncommon thing in traditional survival horror games.
