Play Taco Stand, a psychological horror simulation where late-night taco cooking slowly turns disturbing through sound, atmosphere, and subtle fear.

Introducing Taco Stand

Taco Stand is a unique psychological horror simulation game that puts players into what seems like a normal late-night taco shift. Developed by Wave Infinite, the game starts with a slow, familiar pace, but gradually transforms into a tense, unsettling experience, leaving players wondering: Is everything happening real or just a figment of their imagination?

Initially, Taco Stand feels peaceful: taking orders, baking, adding sauce, and folding tacos with precision. But as the night progresses, small details begin to become suspicious, turning a familiar shift into a haunting and terrifying experience.

In Taco Stand, you play as the operator of a small taco stand that operates after midnight. Each customer has their own demands and personality — some are polite, others are irritable and impatient. You must follow the correct taco procedure: toast the tortilla, add the sauce, fold it perfectly, and serve quickly.

The unique aspect of Taco Stand isn't the jump scare, but the atmosphere. As the shift progresses, the sounds gradually become unfamiliar, the lighting subtly changes, and inexplicable phenomena appear. The sound design plays a crucial role, constantly pushing the player into a state of simmering tension.

Gameplay and Instructions

The gameplay of Taco Stand is very simple, allowing players to focus entirely on observation and feeling:

  • WASD: Move
  • Mouse: Observe your surroundings
  • E: Interact

Each play session lasts approximately 5–10 minutes in the current demo, but it's enough to make a strong impression. Players need to pay attention to every small detail, as changes never come clearly or with warning.
